Serving as the creative lead, I orchestrated the magazine design, infusing it with dynamic page layouts that captivate and inform. Guiding the process, I directed photographers in real-time to seamlessly integrate images, employing advanced photo editing techniques to perfect food photos by eliminating imperfections like dust and scratches. I handled typesetting and collaborated closely with editors to refine every detail, ensuring the final graphic design adhered flawlessly to Epicure's exacting standards. In my role overseeing Epicure's annual summer catalogue, graphic design played a pivotal role in our approach to photo editing. This encompassed fine-tuned adjustments to lighting and shadows, precise removal or repositioning of objects to enhance composition, subtle retouching of skin, hair, and clothing for impeccable presentation, and careful elimination of reflections. These efforts were essential to guarantee that every photograph surpassed the highest benchmarks of visual clarity and quality, reinforcing Epicure's commitment to showcasing its gourmet offerings with utmost appeal and accuracy in our magazine design. 

In overseeing Epicure's annual summer catalogue, the integration of photo editing and graphic design was crucial. A significant aspect of our production involved product clipping and background removal using Photoshop. This detailed process was essential to present each product in its best light and maintain a cohesive photographic style throughout the magazine design. Every product underwent precise clipping to eliminate backgrounds, ensuring a clean, polished appearance. Furthermore, individual ground shadows were painted to accurately reflect lighting and highlight each product's distinct contours and reflective surfaces. This attention to detail not only elevated visual appeal but also upheld Epicure's commitment to excellence in showcasing its gourmet offerings with precision and aesthetic integrity.
